He's finally here!
Well he finally made it! After much waiting and anticipation, Koy Michael Willard Hinnant was born August 16, 2008 at 2:30 pm!
Koy was about 1 week over due and I tried anything I could to get him to come. I tried walking, going up and down stairs, eating the famous "pregnancy pizza" from cafe Trio, I went and got a pedicure, and I even tried this herbral supplement that was suppose to induce labor, but had no luck. Finally we were schedule to be induced August 16th if he hadn't decided to come on his own. I went up to the hospital friday night and they gave me a pill to "soften my cervix" because I wasn't dialated at all and they planned on giving me the pitsosin in the morning. After 230 am Koy decided that he was done cooking and my water broke. 12 hours later our beautiful boy came. I had a epidural, but they had to turn it off around 12 because it was slowing everything down. We found out that he pooped inside so they were worried that he might have swollowed some of it. They had to call in the pediatric team to be on stand by. Cody was a champ through out the whole labor. Even though he almost passed out a couple of times he stood by and cheered me on the whole way. Finally when Koy was born, but didn't cry at first so they took him in the corner and sucked out most of the junk that he swollowed. Cody was able to hold him for a moment, but then they took him away to the nursery to do some tests and give him his first bath. I was able to see and hold him about an hour later. It was the coolest thing in the whole world. To be able to finally see this little guy that had been inside me for the past 9 months. It's still sinking in! I just sit and stare at him and think how amazing he is!
We stayed in the hospital until the 18th so they could make sure that everything was ok with him and all the junk was out of his lungs! It was nice to come home! Koy's doing really well. He is so much fun. I never knew i could love something so much!

here goes nothing
So i was told last night that i need to join the blogging world, so here it goes..lol!
So me and my husband cody are expecting our first kid in a copule of weeks and we are so excited! we've been married 5 1/2 years now and can't wait to see our little guy! Cody is a dock worker for UPS freight and is also in the army reserves. I work as a surgical tech and I totally love my job! We met while I was a senior in high school through a blind date and the rest is history! Funny how things work out eh!:) We bought a house about 2 years ago and are working on fixing it up to how we want it. It's a never ending process, but when it's done it will be perfect.
We got a rottweiler named Tank in march and he is our little buddy! We love him so much. It's so fun to see him get so excited when we get home from work while he greets us. It's only of the many highlights of our day. Recently he was sick with parvo, but luckily he snapped out of it and is all healthy now, thankgoodness! We also have 2 cats name shadow and persasus. Tank tries so hard to play with them, but they really don't want to have anything to do with him.
